Dallimonti's Italian Restaurant was originally named RJD's Bar & Grill when it first opened on June 23, 1982. The menu consisted of a variety of burgers, salads, and sandwiches, the usual pub-style food you'd find anywhere. It was during these early, formative years that Ron and Christy Dallimonti saw their cozy restaurant become a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
     After a few years, RJD's morphed into Dallimonti's Italian Restaurant, which now is noted for it's family-style Italian dinners. Having been raised in San Francisco, Ron fondly remembers many great meals his family shared in the North Beach area, an historic Italian neighborhood famous for it's wonderful restaurants. Both Ron and Christy thought that concept of family dining, of sharing a tureen of soup, salad, platters of pasta and good Italian comfort food would be a good idea.
     Known for its wonderful food and friendly service, Dallimonti's continues to entertain old friends and new in a casual setting that will leave you satisfied and happy you stopped in. We serve dinners nightly at 5 pm (closed Mondays), and lunch Tuesday-Friday at 11:30 to 1:30.
